Make sure that your GCSE History revision involves doing more than just listening to these podcasts. You might create tables of comparisons, sets of flash cards to test yourself, mind-map themes and ideas, or stick key words to the wall opposite your toilet. Seriously.

Also, if you found the resources helpful, why not contact me like these students did.

Revision Powerpoints

I have also made some revision PowerPoint presentations for my GCSE students, which you will find below.  They're designed to be part of a taught lesson, and so are not particularly self-explanatory, but should give you some guidance on what to revise for each topic.
Modern World History GCSE and IGCSE Revision Podcasts

These podcasts are designed to help GCSE and IGCSE revision.  When I first began to record podcasts I was teaching OCR Modern World History, and so there is a lot of OCR-specific material here, but as I am now teaching CIE IGCSE you will see new content begin to appear ready for the 2009 examinations.  My podcasts are a popular resource, which are downloaded by over 1,500 people a month.  Click here to see comments from real students who have used these podcasts to help them revise.

Go straight to the podcast subscription page to automatically download new revision guides as they are recorded.  Alternatively, to download the GCSE History revision guides manually, right-click the links and select "Save Target As..." to save them to your computer.  iTunes users can subscribe here.
